I cannot put into words the excitement, joy, and peace I feel when thinking about our adoption process. Seeing orphans living in Uganda broke my heart. Even in the best of situations an orphan never experiences the love of family. I learned during my time in Africa how inadequate I truly am. It is only by the grace of God that we will be blessed to provide a family for at least one orphan. I have heard it said there are roughly 147 Million orphans in the world. We cannot help them all but feel called to change that statistic to 147 Million Minus 1. We are in contact with a few adoption agencies and plan to start our home study in the upcoming weeks. When I have more information I will keep you all posted through our blog.
